This new event may be the start of a new Deep House place to be, in Chicago. Brought to you by Alon Cain and Ron Tinsley, Resurrection Wednesday kicked off what we hope to be it’s first of many Deep House venues for our Deep House Chicago sound. Resurrection Wednesday is not limited to only Deep House but, also you can hear Minimal, Tech House, and much more.. throughout this journey.

Originally, Resurrection Wednesday had been planned to be held at Room2 located at 738 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL, however the owners decided to cancel the event due to last minute renovation decisions. Alon and Ron immediately began looking for a new location for this event to be held and chose Tantrum Chicago located at 1023 S. State St. in Chicago, IL.

Almost immediately upon walking into the venue, you could feel the vibe coming from the sounds brought to you by the residents Alon and Ron as well as their guests, K’ Alexi Shelby, and Berko.

This being the first event for Resurrection Wednesday, expectations were limited for the events turnout. With approximately 20 – 25 attendees for this first event, the feeling in the room was lax with room for energy to build. We wonder if Cain and Tinsley will continue to hold Resurrection Wednesday at their second choice Tantrum, or attempt to hold the events at their first choice Room2. Rumors have it that, they may alternate locations. I guess we will have to wait and see.
